Join Our Dynamic Team as an IT Product Owner – Product Definition Solutions

Are you an experienced IT professional with a passion for driving innovation and delivering customer-centric solutions? We have an exciting opportunity for you to take ownership of our Product Definition related applications. We're looking for a talented and motivated IT Product Owner with expertise in complex product configurations and enterprise IT systems — especially SAP Variant configuration and related processes.

Your Responsibilities

• End-to-End Ownership: Lead development and IT operations for assigned applications as SAP P01/ABB-C, SO2, Maculix and PD Global language applications and ensuring those alignment with business goals. Manage the vendor ecosystem, and work closely with Outokumpu SAP Platform team for technical expertise.
• Product Definition Expertise: Act as a subject matter expert in Product Definition (PD) processes. Ensuring rollout capabilities for global PD processes in possible new system. Tight collaboration with CRM and Sales (e.g. Quoting & Sales Order processes).
• Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with R&D, Sales, QM and SCM stakeholders. Lead change initiatives and drive business value realization.
• Financial Management: Oversee the application lifecycle, including budgeting and KPIs, demonstrating strategic IT service delivery.
• Training & Support: Create training materials, deliver training sessions, and facilitate and support the key super user network for Product Definitions related topics.

What You’ll Bring

• Experience: Several years of successful IT development and operations management in a multinational, multivendor environment, with a focus on Product Definitions in complex manufacturing industry. Experience working with data integrations and with structured data sets. Knowledge of Product definitions related processes and sales processes is a plus.
• Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of system development and hands-on experience with SAP Variant Configuration, enabling you to effectively challenge and collaborate with partners.
• Qualifications: A relevant academic degree is required. Agile certification (e.g., SAFe) is a plus and reflects your commitment to continuous improvement.
• Leadership: Proven ability to manage remote teams, vendor relationships, and system implementations. You’re a self-starter who thrives on responsibility and accountability.
• Communication Skills: Fluent in English (spoken and written) with excellent interpersonal skills. You can present and negotiate effectively at all levels and manage customer relationships with business stakeholders.
