Job Title: Full Stack NodeJS Developer - React/Typescript

Location: Remote (Ireland or UK only)

We are looking for a highly skilled Full Stack Developer with expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, and React to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with both SQL and NoSQL databases and be comfortable leveraging Azure DevOps for CI/CD and infrastructure management.

Experience working in Agile development environments is essential. Knowledge or hands-on experience with blockchain technologies, particularly Ethereum, would be a strong advantage but is not a requirement. This role is fully remote; however, candidates must be based in Ireland or the UK and possess a valid work visa.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain high-quality web applications using Node.js, TypeScript, and React/NextJS
• Design and manage SQL and NoSQL databases, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
• Work with Azure DevOps to automate deployment pipelines and manage cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for performance and scalability.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies, particularly in blockchain and Web3, and contribute to innovation within the team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, and React/NextJS.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps and cloud-based application development.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working within Agile teams.
• Knowledge of modern software development best practices, including testing, CI/CD, and security principles.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Must be based in Ireland or the UK with a valid work visa.

Nice to Have

• Experience or strong interest in blockchain technologies, Ethereum, and smart contracts.
• Familiarity with Web3 development and decentralized applications (dApps).
• Previous experience working with microservices architecture.
