DevOps Engineer - Dublin / Hybrid
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join a high-growth tech business delivering cutting-edge workflow and AI-driven solutions to the healthcare sector. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping and optimising infrastructure that directly improves efficiency, scalability, and reliability for mission-critical systems.
About the Role
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you’ll manage and enhance cloud-native infrastructure across AWS and Kubernetes environments. You’ll collaborate with development and cross-functional teams to drive automation, streamline deployments, and strengthen monitoring, security, and cost optimisation practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Kubernetes clusters in EKS and implement scaling tools such as Karpenter and KEDA.
- Optimise AWS resource usage for performance and cost efficiency.
- Enhance and maintain CI/CD and GitOps workflows (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD).
- Deploy and manage observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, CloudWatch).
- Implement and maintain AWS security tools (WAF, GuardDuty, Security Hub).
- Automate infrastructure with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK).
- Troubleshoot scaling, deployment, and performance issues across multiple environments.
- Drive automation initiatives and identify opportunities for continuous optimisation.
Candidate Profile
- 3–5 years’ experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure management, and Kubernetes operations.
- Strong proficiency in AWS services and cloud architecture.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitOps workflows, and deployment tools (ArgoCD, GitHub Actions).
- Skilled in monitoring and observability (Grafana, Prometheus, CloudWatch).
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices and AWS security tools.
- Hands-on with IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK).
- Strong communicator with a collaborative mindset.
- AWS Certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, SysOps) desirable.
