Software Architect – Java, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, Cloud - Frankfurt - €90-100K
A growing FinTech in Frankfurt is building the next generation of liquidity and treasury management software. Their platform helps organisations of all sizes understand their cash position today and in the future, avoiding insolvency and enabling smarter financial decisions.
They’re now looking for a Software Architect to join their 10-15 person development team and take on a pivotal role in shaping their cloud-native product.
What you’ll be working on:
- Designing and developing new backend modules for payments, treasury, and financial instruments
- Building modern, scalable architectures with Java, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, Microservices and cloud
- Supporting the ongoing migration and recovery from legacy systems to a multi-tenant cloud solution
- Taking ownership of technical decision-making within a team culture where developers have real independence
- Guiding and mentoring junior developers
What we’re looking for:
- Strong professional experience with Java development and backend systems
- Exposure to architecture, system design, or technical leadership alongside hands-on coding
- Familiarity with cloud-native technologies (Spring Boot, Kubernetes, Microservices)
- Excellent German language skills (English is a plus)
- A background in maths, banking or finance is an advantage but not a must
