Our client is seeking an experienced Cyber Security Architect to join their innovative team and play a key role in strengthening digital resilience. In this role, the successful candidate will drive the design and implementation of modern, future-proof IT security and compliance architectures to protect customers against evolving cyber threats.


Working closely with project managers, consultants, and technical specialists, the Cyber Security Architect will take ownership of specific service areas and contribute to delivering effective cybersecurity strategies, risk management frameworks, and security best practices. This position is ideal for a professional with deep technical expertise, a passion for innovation, and the ability to operate in dynamic, customer-facing environments.


Cyber Security Architect Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement cybersecurity architectures, SOC (Security Operations Center) and SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) concepts, and XDR strategies.
  • Develop security monitoring and threat detection strategies to safeguard digital assets.
  • Support continuous improvement of customers’ IT security architecture to defend against emerging risks.
  • Contribute to the evolution of internal security standards, compliance frameworks, and governance models.
  • Advise customers on best practices in cybersecurity, cloud security, and identity management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration of DevSecOps, authentication, and endpoint security solutions.
  • Provide expertise in incident response, vulnerability management, and risk assessment.
  • Travel across Germany as required to support customer projects and on-site engagements.


Cyber Security Architect Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related discipline.
  • 10+ years of IT experience, with at least 3–5 years in network security, cybersecurity, or software development.
  • Proven expertise with cloud infrastructures (AWS, Azure AD, GCP) and access control.
  • Strong knowledge of security monitoring, log analysis, IDS/IPS, firewalls, antivirus, and endpoint protection.
  • Experience in a SOC environment is highly beneficial.
  • Familiarity with security standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR).
  • Knowledge of authentication methods (SSO, MFA, FIDO, blockchain).
  • Experience with DevOps / DevSecOps environments.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and fluent German (mandatory).
  • Willingness to travel across Germany to support projects and customers.
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, GCIH, Splunk Certified Administrator are a plus.
