Position: Java Architect
Location: Dublin,Ireland(Hybrid)
Experience: 15+ years (with strong Java architectural expertise)
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver end-to-end solutions leveraging microservices architecture.
- Define and implement integration patterns (Kafka, REST, SOAP when required).
- Ensure security best practices are embedded (OAuth2, JWT, TLS).
- Drive cloud-native development across AWS/Azure platforms.
- Support cloud engineering tasks including containerization, VPC setup, and SSO.
- Establish and enforce architecture standards across teams and projects.
- Conduct performance benchmarking and optimization of solutions.
- Maintain and monitor code quality metrics (SonarQube, cyclomatic complexity).
- Identify, track, and manage technical debt to ensure sustainable delivery.
Soft Skills:
- Strong stakeholder communication and ability to present architectural decisions clearly.
- Skilled in risk management and mitigation strategies.
- Strategic thinker with a focus on long-term roadmap planning.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect or similar role.
- Strong expertise in microservices, cloud platforms, and integration frameworks.
- Solid understanding of security standards and DevOps practices.
