Safety and Security Manager, IKEA Delft Store, full-time

Job Description

What will you do?

As a Safety and Security manager, you will play a crucial role in fostering a culture of safety awareness and compliance throughout our organization. Your proactive approach will help protect our assets and support our long-term profitability goals.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will lead, coach and develop the Safety and Security department and co-workers. In addition, you:

• Will conduct training, audits, and inspections to create a safe environment for co-workers and customers.
• Collaborate with the Management Team and Risk Team on sensitive issues such as harassment, fraud, and information security
• Contribute to sustainable solutions that maximize profit while maintaining safety and security.
• Coordinate with the Emergency Response Team for readiness in handling potential emergency situations, including cyber threats.
• Build and maintain trust-based relationships with internal and external partners to improve operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with our standards for all external partners involved in the Store, including transport and cleaning services.

Availability

At IKEA the customer is in focus. Our customers visit the store at various times, also in the evening, weekends, during national holidays and during school holidays. We expect that you will be present when the customers visits us. Of course, you have an impact on your schedule yourself as well.
