As a preferred supplier to one of our biggest financial clients, I am seeking for a Data Analyst for a position in Utrecht, Netherlands. As Senior Data Analyst you work in a team that is situated in a rapidly changing and challenging environment (i.e. external regulatory demands, new innovations, compliance requirements). We expect you to bring your senior experience to guide team members in building new information solutions that meet the needs of our business stakeholders and align with the vision of our Data & Insights Area. You share your experience and knowledge with the team on how to manage stakeholders effectively, to gather and define requirements for the new to be build information solutions, to anticipate on needs of the business and foresee potential risks. Together as a team you deliver new, valuable information solutions according to the scrum framework.

Responsibilities:

• Translation of business needs into adequately documented requirements and eventually information solutions in the form of dashboards.
• Ensure maintenance and development of the squads information products into future proof and compliant solutions.
• Guide and influence the team members towards the vision of the Area. Also to share your expertise and knowledge with other team members.

Practical Examples:

• Build future proof information solutions (i.e. dashboard) according to requirements based on the business needs.
• Maintain, simplify and enhance existing dashboards to increase efficiency.
• Bring an overarching vision and viewpoint on information products to ensure that we create valuable and sustainable information solutions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor or Master Degree
• Experienced in Power BI, DAX, SQL, Python, R
• Proven experience with Power BI (modelling data, using storytelling to help the end user to understand, eye for design and UI)
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Experience with working Agile/Scrum
• Result-oriented, have can-do mentality
• Strong analytical skills, ability to learn quickly to understand complex topics
• Team player: you are able to work with others well to deliver value to our organization
• Able to think ahead and to take initiative to improve and optimize
• Can communicate in English and Dutch fluently

Contract: 12+ months

Interview: 2 stages, 1 technical + 1 assessment
