Roles and Responsibilities

This position is responsible for the delivery of technology for critical J&J Solutions developed at the JJT Technology Services Development Center in Limerick, Ireland. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the Product Owner and Development Team to deliver on the Product Backlog.
• Leading and developing operations plans, including application releases and performance improvements.
• Identifying project risks and driving mitigations.
• Providing all support to the team using a servant leadership style and leading by example.
• Guiding and coaching the team to ensure Scrum practices and principles are adhered to.
• Facilitating all Scrum Ceremonies, including the Daily Stand Up, Sprint Planning, and Retrospective.
• Assessing the Scrum Maturity of the team and coaching them to higher levels of maturity.
• Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove them on a continual basis.

How to Succeed

To excel in this role, you will bring a minimum of three years of experience as a Scrum Master developing software using Agile methodologies. You will also bring:

• An excellent understanding of Agile development methodologies.
• A solid understanding of the roles of the Product Owner, Scrum Master, and Development Team.
• Experience with JIRA, JIRA Agile, and Confluence.
• A BSc. or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• A technical background, given the complexities of the platform.
• Strong analytical skills and a demonstrable bias toward action.
