iOS Engineer

We're partnered with a leading technology consultancy that is scaling their tech team in the UAE. They provide cutting-edge digital services impacting millions of lives across the region. We are now helping them search for a talented iOS Engineer to join their growing team.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain robust, high-quality iOS applications with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative features and user experiences.
• Optimize application performance to ensure seamless responsiveness and smooth user interactions.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented Swift code following best practices.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve performance issues and application bugs.
• Integrate third-party SDKs and frameworks to extend app functionality.
• Work closely with backend engineers to ensure efficient API integrations and end-to-end functionality.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven expertise in iOS development with a strong portfolio of published apps on the App Store.
• Proficiency in Swift and a solid understanding of iOS frameworks such as UIKit, SwiftUI, and Core Data.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and integration with backend systems.
• Strong knowledge of Apple's design principles, interface guidelines, and best practices.
• Familiarity with modern tools such as Xcode, Instruments, XCTest, and CI/CD pipelines for iOS.
• Experience with Swift Package Manager, CocoaPods, or Carthage is a plus.
