We are assembling a team to support an automotive technology company developing next-generation software platforms. The focus is on scaling and optimizing Bazel-based build systems for Android and Qualcomm environments.

Responsibilities
We are assembling a team to support an automotive technology company developing next-generation software platforms. The focus is on scaling and optimizing Bazel-based build systems for Android and Qualcomm environments.

Responsibilities
- Maintain and optimize Bazel build infrastructure (rules, remote caching, remote execution).
- Manage large-scale Android and Qualcomm platform builds.
- Design and operate CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Buildkite).
- Automate workflows with Python, Bash, and Starlark.
- Diagnose build failures, improve performance, and ensure reproducible builds.
- Solid experience with Bazel (including custom rule development and build optimization).
- Background in Android platform builds (AOSP and vendor trees).
- Hands-on CI/CD expertise at scale, preferably using GitLab CI/CD.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
- Experience working with Make, Soong, and complex repository structures.
- Familiarity with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Demonstrated expertise in debugging, build system troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles and modern software development workflows.
- Experience with Yocto/embedded Linux build systems.
- Knowledge of Qualcomm BSPs/toolchains.
- Contributions to open-source build tools.
- Familiarity with SoC bring-up or firmware integration.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to align build systems with delivery needs.
