Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Android Developer SME to design, develop, and optimize Android applications and services. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, guiding best practices, and ensuring high-quality delivery in a fully remote environment.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong understanding of modeling languages such as UML
• Proficiency in Kotlin and Java
• Experience with data formats JSON and YAML (OpenAPI)
• Expertise with Git version control
• Familiarity with frameworks, toolchains, and development tools
• Strong project management skills using Jira and Confluence
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Scripting, querying, and markup language skills
• Backend development & architecture capabilities
• Testing and documentation proficiency
• Consulting and knowledge transfer experience
• German language fluency is mandatory

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Android application design and development
• Collaborate with backend and architecture teams to ensure seamless integration
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
• Create and maintain technical documentation
• Mentor team members and conduct knowledge transfer
• Ensure adherence to Agile/Scrum processes
