Job Overview
You’ll be instrumental in building and maintaining user-friendly web platforms that allow researchers and industry collaborators to access advanced AI models. Your work will translate complex scientific insights into intuitive interfaces that support biotech and therapeutic applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain interactive web applications using Next.js to visualize AI-derived scientific outputs and facilitate model-driven workflows.
- Design and implement dashboards and tools that enable users to explore biological data, interpret predictive outputs, and interact with machine learning models—such as fine-tuning interfaces and response visualizations.
- Create scientifically accurate, interactive data visualizations (e.g., expression heatmaps, response curves, patient stratification logic, network diagrams).
- Oversee application deployment using platforms like Vercel (or equivalents), set up CI/CD pipelines, and ensure reliable uptime for external and internal users.
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams—product managers, UX designers, data scientists, ML engineers—to embed research ideas into functional tools that advance precision medicine workflows.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or has equivalent practical experience.
- Holds 3+ years of experience in full-stack web development with modern React (Next.js) frameworks.
- Skilled in both frontend and backend development: API creation, database integration, and server-side rendering.
- Thrives in agile, fast-paced, and evolving environments—comfortable navigating ambiguity and rapidly iterating.
- Bonus experience:
- Working in scientific, research, or healthcare technology domains.
- Integrating AI/ML capabilities—especially LLM-powered or conversational interfaces—into web applications.
- Demonstrated ownership mindset and strong problem-solving orientation.
