At OptiComm.AI, we believe the next generation of software will not just inform people, it will think with them, decide with them, and act for them.
We’re creating a new layer of business software where prediction, decision-making, and execution are no longer separate steps, but one continuous system powered by strong AI. Our platform helps companies move from dashboards and manual workflows to intelligent systems that continuously predict, decide, and act.
We’re building with people who want to work on what comes after software as we know it. 🚀
Role Overview:
As a Senior Applied AI Engineer at OptiComm.AI, you’ll help build the intelligence layer behind our platform and shape the predictive systems at the core of the company.
You’ll work on real machine learning and deep learning systems that power prediction, anomaly detection, prioritization, and decision support across commercial and operational use cases. This is a role for someone who combines strong technical depth with product sense, practical judgment, and the ability to turn ambiguity into working systems that create measurable impact.
You won’t just improve models in isolation. You’ll help define objectives, structure data problems, build production-grade ML systems, and contribute directly to how OptiComm.AI evolves its Predict -> Decide -> Act platform.
What you’ll work on:
- Design, build, and improve machine learning and deep learning models across forecasting, anomaly detection, prioritization, and decision-support use cases
- Translate complex business problems into scalable ML formulations, datasets, features, and evaluation strategies
- Lead experimentation across models, features, architectures, and methodologies to improve both technical and business performance
- Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and business people to bring models into production and ensure real-world adoption
- Contribute to training pipelines, evaluation frameworks, model monitoring, and ML workflows
- Help define best practices around model quality, validation, robustness, and iteration speed
- Explore and integrate emerging ML and AI methods where they create real product advantage
- Contribute to the technical direction of the predictive intelligence layer and raise the bar for how the team builds
What we’re looking for:
- Strong experience in machine learning, applied AI and data science, with a track record of building and improving production-oriented ML systems
- Strong Python skills and solid experience with tools such as PyTorch, scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy, or similar
- Deep understanding of ML fundamentals, including model design, feature engineering, validation, overfitting, error analysis, and performance trade-offs
- Strong hands-on experience with experimentation, iteration, and real-world model evaluation
- Ability to work across the full path from business problem to model to production impact
- Strong problem-solving ability and comfort operating in ambiguity, with incomplete or evolving requirements
- Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
- Ownership, speed, and a builder mindset
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with MLOps, model deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management
- Experience with cloud ML environments such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
- Experience with SQL, APIs, data pipelines, and production data workflows
- Exposure to commerce, retail, logistics, supply chain, or operational intelligence use cases
- Interest in agentic systems, decision intelligence, and real-world AI execution layers
- Previous experience in a startup or high-growth product environment
What kind of person thrives here:
- Takes ownership beyond their immediate scope
- Wants to build things that work in the real world, not just in notebooks
- Balances technical ambition with practical execution
- Is excited by ambitious ideas, fast iteration, and meaningful product impact
- Enjoys turning ambiguity into systems, structure, and progress
- Wants to help shape not just models, but the future direction of the platform
What we offer:
- The opportunity to work on ambitious, real-world AI problems with direct business impact
- A front-row seat in building an AI-native company at an early stage
- Real ownership over critical parts of the predictive intelligence stack
- A high-trust, high-energy environment with fast learning and fast execution
- Equity, so you can share in the value you help create
- The chance to help shape what the future of AI-native business software looks like
Join OptiComm.AI and help build the systems that turn prediction into decisions and decisions into action. 🌍🚀
