Job Description
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with Python Development skills to design, build, and maintain a highly scalable and reliable software development environment for one of the world’s most advanced high-tech and semiconductor companies. This role requires hands-on experience with modern DevOps tools and platforms, including Python, Bamboo, JFrog Artifactory, Kubernetes (via Rancher), Azure, and Bitbucket. Mix of Python software development, Linux admin and CI/CD pipeline management supporting complex systems in a tightly controlled network with cloud restrictions.
The ideal candidate should not only be technically proficient but also excel in stakeholder engagement and contribute meaningfully to design and architectural decisions.

Their software environment supports thousands of engineers working on cutting-edge technologies, requiring state-of-the-art DevOps and automation solutions.

Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and integrate security tools like BlackDuck, Trivy, SonarQube in CI/CD pipelines using Bamboo and Bitbucket.
- Manage artifact repositories with JFrog Artifactory.
- Deploy and orchestrate containerized applications using Kubernetes with Rancher.
- Develop automation scripts and tools using Python to implement the designed solution.
- Follow a TDD approach covering: Unit , Component and Integration testing using Pytest and other tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate and implement the proposed integrations in CI/CD pipelines.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, communicate progress, and align on priorities.
- Contribute to system architecture and design discussions, offering strong technical insight and recommendations.
- Ensure system reliability, scalability, and security across on-premise deployments and Microsoft Azure.
Requirements:
- Programming & Scripting: Expertise in software development in Python since a lot is still happening in regular on-prem infrastructure (not only python scripting)
- Both on-premises (higher experience) and Azure experience ( services and deployment models.)
- Strong experience with Python, Bamboo, Bitbucket, JFrog Artifactory, Kubernetes, and Rancher.
- Proven ability to understand and implement system design principles.
- Demonstrated experience contributing to and influencing design decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of effective stakeholder management.
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools: Ansible is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
