Reconext is an industry leader in sustainable electronics and post-sale solutions. We specialize in lifecycle management for electronic devices and focus on creating end-to-end technology solutions to support both direct-to-consumer (DTC) and business-to-business (B2B) markets. As we continue to scale and innovate, we are seeking a highly experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) with expertise in enterprise system integration, e-commerce platforms, and the B2B electronics industry.
Position Summary
The Chief Technology Officer will thrive on creating robust high-reliability platforms that drive immediate value for employees, customers, and suppliers. The CTO will lead the company's technology vision and oversee the integration of enterprise systems such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). The successful candidate will have an in-depth understanding of data structures, master data integrity, and the electronic B2B and DTC landscape. This CTO role is pivotal to streamlining our digital operations, ensuring efficient system integration, and scaling our e-commerce capabilities in both B2B and DTC channels. This is a global position and thus will require frequent travel to international sites and will be involved in the design and execution of customer-facing digital solutions.

Responsibilities/Duties
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive technology roadmap aligned with company goals for growth, scalability, and efficiency.
- Drive technology innovation, focusing on solutions that enhance the customer experience and operational efficiency.
- Lead the design and integration of critical enterprise systems, including ERP, PLM, CRM, and WMS, ensuring seamless communication across platforms.
- Establish and enforce data standards, data governance protocols, and data integrity policies to support robust master data management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and optimize enterprise software systems to improve productivity and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee the architecture and technical development of DTC e-commerce platforms, ensuring high performance, security, and positive customer experience.
- Lead the integration of e-commerce platforms with backend enterprise systems, such as inventory and order management, to enhance operational efficiency.
- Identify opportunities to leverage e-commerce technology to support DTC growth, enhance customer engagement, and optimize user journeys.
- Apply a strong understanding of the B2B electronics market to identify and support sales opportunities within wholesale and e-commerce channels.
- Guide technology initiatives to align with the unique requirements of B2B customers in the electronics industry, focusing on both high-performance solutions and streamlined workflows.
- Stay informed on industry trends to strategically position [Your Company Name] as a leader in sustainable electronic solutions.
- Build and mentor a high-performing technology team, fostering an environment of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Collaborate closely with C-suite executives to align technology goals with broader business objectives.
- Act as a thoughtful leader, promoting a culture of innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence across the company.
- 10+ years of progressive technology leadership experience, with 5+ years in a senior technology role (VP/CTO or similar).
- Demonstrated experience in integrating enterprise systems such as ERP, PLM, CRM, and WMS.
- Deep understanding of data structures, data governance, and master data integrity.
- Proven expertise in direct-to-consumer e-commerce platforms and their integration with enterprise systems.
- Solid understanding of APIs, middleware, and other integration technologies to connect DTC platforms with backend systems.
- Familiarity with modern e-commerce technologies, including cloud solutions and data analytics.
- Strong background in the B2B electronics landscape, including experience in wholesale and e-commerce channels.
- Knowledge of technological trends in the electronics lifecycle and sustainability sectors is a plus.
- Exceptional team management, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
- Ability to drive change, inspire innovation, and influence stakeholders across the organization.
