Full-timeRemote FriendlyEngineering, Information Technology

Hey - we're Sysynkt, and we build cloud enterprise SaaS for finance: live banking, REST APIs, AI-assisted accounting, mobile expense tracking, etc. If you're someone who loves learning, solving real challenges, and making an impact, you might be the one we're looking for.

What You'll Do

  • Design & implement backend web services and REST APIs
  • Turn customer problems into working solutions
  • Review and improve code (frontend & backend)
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and support existing systems
  • Apply and promote best practises (tests, version control, etc.)
  • Work independently and collaboratively

What We're Looking For (but don't worry if you miss some items)

Should-Haves:

  • Strong programming foundation: PHP, JavaScript, NodeJS or similar
  • Experience writing/consuming REST APIs
  • Knowledge of relational databases like MySQL
  • Comfortable with Git / GitHub or equivalent version control
  • Good English (written & spoken)

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Prior work in SaaS / finance tech
  • Using project management tools (JIRA or equivalents)
  • Exposure to cloud infrastructure

We care more about mindset, growth potential, fundamentals than having every single skill checked off. If you're motivated, curious, and keen to learn - let's talk.

Legal & Location Info

  • Full-time, hybrid position based in Viljandi, Estonia. You'll be in-office during your onboarding period to get you properly set up, then occasionally working from home is possible. If you're located in Viljandi, Tartu, or anywhere commutable, that works well.
  • Must already be in Estonia with full working rights
  • (Note: student visa holders without work permit cannot be considered - sorry, no exceptions here)

Why Join Us

  • Real impact: our software is used by companies every day
  • Growth: you'll develop new skills, influence features & architecture
  • Inclusive & friendly environment, with clarity, structure, and respect for different thinking styles / working styles
  • Flexible / hybrid work, mentorship, and openness

How to Apply

Send us:

  1. Your CV (or equivalent)
  2. Links you think matter: GitHub, recent project, whatever you're proud of
  3. A short note: what excites you about this kind of work; what you want to learn

Summary

We're an equal opportunity employer. Diversity and uniqueness are strengths for us. If you're interested, apply - even if you don't match every bullet point.
