Software Developer (Backend / PHP)

Hey - we're Sysynkt, and we build cloud enterprise SaaS for finance: live banking, REST APIs, AI-assisted accounting, mobile expense tracking, etc. If you're someone who loves learning, solving real challenges, and making an impact, you might be the one we're looking for.

What You'll Do

Design & implement backend web services and REST APIs

Review and improve code (frontend & backend)

Apply and promote best practises (tests, version control, etc.)

Work independently and collaboratively

What We're Looking For (but don't worry if you miss some items)

Should-Haves:

Strong programming foundation: PHP, JavaScript, NodeJS or similar

Experience writing/consuming REST APIs

Knowledge of relational databases like MySQL

Comfortable with Git / GitHub or equivalent version control

Good English (written & spoken)

Nice-to-Haves:

Experience with Laravel, Livewire, Symphony or similar

Prior work in SaaS / finance tech

Using project management tools (JIRA or equivalents)

Exposure to cloud infrastructure

Legal & Location Info

Full-time position based at either our Viljandi or Tallinn (Estonia) offices. Hybrid options available. You'll be in-office during your onboarding period to get you properly set up, then occasionally working from home is possible.

Must already be in Estonia with full working rights
