Location: Vilnius, Lithuania (hybrid)

Schedule: 1 FTE (40 hours/week)

Initial 6-month contract with a high possibility of extension.

What You'll Be Doing

We are looking for a skilled QA IT Software Engineer to join our dynamic team with one of the biggest players in finance in the country. You will be supporting the test automation strategic agenda and QA tooling in general, including Browser Stack (mobile and test management), K6 (performance testing), and Playwright (API functional testing).

How You'll Spend Your Day

  • Collaborate within the squad to achieve both long-term squad missions and short-term sprint goals.
  • Contribute to delivering unified squad objectives, ensuring teamwork and cooperation.
  • Step outside your area of expertise when necessary to meet squad goals.
  • Be open to feedback and continuously learn and improve.
  • Manage squad composition and ensure effective time management.
  • Resolve dependencies with other squads and explain the value of technical tasks.
  • Participate in architecture building within the squad.

You'll be successful if you have

  • 5+ years of experience working independently and conducting Proof of Concept (PoC).
  • Full-stack development skills, particularly now in Java and TypeScript.
  • Familiarity with GitHub environments.
  • Experience with Docker
  • Ability to work with virtual machines and understand their operations.
  • Experience in integrating systems and building CI/CD pipelines (QA lifecycle, including CI/CD, YAML, and DevOps integration).
  • Willingness to experiment and collaborate with vendors to resolve issues and integration obstacles.
  • Possess experience in test automation: API, performance, and UI automation testing (Playwright, k6).
  • Familiarity with Jira/Confluence and agile methodologies.
  • Ability to take ownership of tasks and ensure their completion.
  • Openness, transparency, and willingness to share knowledge.
  • Ability to form necessary teams, meetings, and calls within the organisation and with vendors for test management and automation.
