RF Front-end Engineer - Luxembourg (Hybrid) - Freelance Contract

We're looking for an Direct Radiating Array Responsible Engineer to join our client in Luxembourg.

The project is working on the development of next-generation non-geostationary satellite orbit (NGSO) communication payloads.

We are after an experienced engineer to contribute to the development and qualification of the Transmit and Receive RF Front-End Subsystems for Direct Radiating Antenna (DRA) payload. The role focuses on GaN and GaAs-based RF electronics, with thousands of front-end units per satellite.

Required skills:

• Hands-on experience GaN and GaAs technologies, including high power amplifiers, low-noise amplifiers, and RF filtering.
• Strong background in RF front-end design and integration.
• Proven experience in high-volume RF hardware development.
• Knowledge of PCB layout, packaging, and thermal management.

Client is based in Luxembourg.
