Data Analyst – GPS Analytics
Switzerland-based client in the Banking sector
Your Tasks
- Analyze and interpret complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights
- Develop, maintain, and optimize data visualizations, dashboards, and reports for stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision making
- Identify opportunities for process improvements through data analysis and automation
- Present findings and recommendations clearly to management and business stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field
- 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Excel
- Expertise in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Experience with statistical programming languages such as Python or R
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes
- Knowledge of financial markets, trading instruments, and market data feeds (e.g., stocks, options, futures, forex)
- Familiarity with data governance and data quality best practices
- Language skills: English required; German is a plus
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
