About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Kotlin Developer / Consultant to join our client’s team in Amsterdam. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable Kotlin-based microservices and RESTful APIs. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products in a modern, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of backend solutions using Kotlin.
• Build scalable microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Consult and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions.
• Contribute to coding standards, code reviews, and best practices.
• Ensure quality, performance, and scalability in all deliverables.
• Support deployment pipelines and automation (experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD is a plus).

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of professional experience in backend development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kotlin backend development.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing microservices.
• Experience in building RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines (preferred).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in hybrid, cross-functional teams.
