pawaTech is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer for our Application Domain team. As a part of this team, you will be responsible for provisioning and managing Kubernetes clusters for application services deployment.

What you’ll be doing:

• Provisioning and managing Kubernetes clusters in multiple environments;
• Deploying and managing internal components of the clusters, as well as services required for application functions;
• Ensuring high availability of the deployed workloads and minimizing interruptions for clients in case of updates or failures;
• Providing sufficient computational resources for the application, addressing performance issues, and introducing required optimizations;
• Establishing secure and reliable access for users and applications to resources deployed in the cluster, eliminating unauthorized access and protecting sensitive data;
• Tracking and optimizing costs related to cluster management and resources required for the application services;
• Collaborating with other devops, development, as well as product and management teams, contributing to the overall product development process.

What makes you a great candidate:

• Production experience with highly available Kubernetes clusters management;
• Experience in working within the GitOps paradigm;
• Programming experience with Bash, Python, Go, or other general-purpose languages for automation or different service functions;
• Understanding of different aspects of web application system design and implementation;
• Understanding of the security requirements for running an application with sensitive data;
• Expertise to execute tasks effectively and according to provided estimations, aligning with business goals, processes, and minimizing disruptions;
• Capability to foster teamwork through clear communication, coordination, and constructive feedback.

• Experience in complex system design solutions development;
• Experience with successful implementation of multi-cluster architectures;
• Experience with the development of Kubernetes operators or working programmatically with Kubernetes API;
• Experience with mentoring other team members or team management in general;
