To support our activities and clients, we have developed a suite of custom tools, including prototypes of web-based 3D interfaces and mobile apps tailored for the AECO sector. Our involvement in R&D projects means that this role may also encompass activities related to web platforms, gamification tools, and the development of mobile applications dedicated to social engagement, IoT and digital twins. Furthermore, our interest in VR/AR technology presents additional opportunities for creative and technical exploration.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative UX/UI Designer with front end development skills to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in designing intuitive, engaging, and aesthetically pleasing interfaces for our web and mobile applications, while also contributing to front end development. Your work will directly influence the user experience of our innovative solutions in 3D web interfaces, gamification, VR/AR, and specialised applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and prototype user interfaces for web and mobile applications, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and R&D teams, to create innovative solutions.
• Develop wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes that effectively communicate design ideas.
• Utilise front end development skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to implement and refine UI components.
• Integrate 3D models and visualisations using technologies such as IFC.js, Three.js, and wexBIM.
• Participate in R&D projects focusing on sustainable construction, energy efficiency, and urban development.
• Contribute to the development of gamified experiences and VR/AR applications.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs.
• Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in UX/UI design and front end development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a UX/UI Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing your design and front end development work.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Strong understanding of front end development technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with 3D web technologies (IFC.js, Three.js, wexBIM) is a significant plus.
• Knowledge of VR/AR development and gamification techniques.
• Familiarity with BIM models and sustainable construction principles is desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work in an agile development environment.

Job Terms:

We offer flexible job terms. Depending on the right candidate, we are open to full-time, part-time, or remote work arrangements through a consultancy agreement.

Periodic in-office activities will be required for workshops, reviews, and design collaboration sessions. The frequency of in-office activities will be discussed and determined based on project needs.
