Chief Information Security Officer

My client is looking for an CISO/Information Security Specialist. This role includes both strategic and operational tasks, along with acting as the DPO.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement information security strategy.
• Review and improve security architecture at all locations.
• Respond to and investigate security incidents in real-time, implementing countermeasures when necessary.
• Create and maintain response plans for various security risks.
• Conduct regular information security awareness campaigns and training.
• Ensure compliance with internal security policies.
• Advise management and teams on data security matters.
• Collaborate on IT projects with a focus on data protection.

Requirements

• Degree in IT, Computer Science, or Business Informatics.
• Strong technical knowledge in information security, networks, and cybersecurity.
• Solid understanding of risk management and data protection regulations.
• Experience in cybersecurity or information security, preferably in medical technology.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills in German and English.
• Must be leaving in Switzerland around Biel/Bienne or willing to relocate.
• Swiss or European passport is mandatory.
