Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Senior Dot Net Developer located in Sydney, NSW with a hybrid work model that allows some work from home. The Senior Dot Net Developer will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and maintaining applications within .NET frameworks. Daily tasks will include collaborating with cross-functional teams, participating in project planning, and ensuring best practices in software development. The developer will also troubleshoot and debug applications, maintain code quality, and ensure software scalability and performance.

Key Qualifications & Responsibilities-

• Design, develop, and maintain robust .NET applications (C#/.NET Core)
• Work with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
• Deploy and manage applications on AWS using services like EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, CloudFormation, etc.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, QA, and Product
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
• Participate in code reviews and follow best coding practices

Required Skills:

• 10+ years of experience with C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core
• Strong knowledge of relational databases (SQL Server or PostgreSQL)
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, API Gateway, RDS, IAM)
• Experience with containerization (Docker, ECS/EKS) is a plus
• Familiarity with message queues like SQS/SNS
• Good understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices
