ALTEN Sweden is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Scrum Master to join our of key clients within the automotive sector. You will work closely with different domains and be part of strategic technology transfers and platform integrations for national automotive operations.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As Scrum Master in the Vehicle Services Core team, you will play a dual role as both Scrum Master and Developer, with your primary focus on Scrum Master responsibilities. Working in a DevSecOps environment, you will collaborate not only with Java Developers in your team but also with multiple teams across our client. This means you will frequently interact with Scrum Masters, Support teams, Business Analysts, E2E Testers, and many others.

The role is based in Gothenburg, with a hybrid work modality (2–3 days working from home).

What you will do:

• Lead daily follow-ups with the team and provide status updates—both one-time and ongoing—to the Release Train Engineer and Product Owner.
• Drive deliveries according to the SAFe framework with Program Increments.
• Work with collaboration tools such as Confluence and Jira.
• Contribute to the ownership and development of several backend services within the client telematics platform, including Over-the-Air (OTA) updates.

Who you are:

We are looking for a candidate with the following background and qualities:

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master, with a strong understanding of Agile practices.
• Solid background in Java programming and the software development lifecycle.
• Experience with AWS is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with Linux, GIT, and Spring Boot.
• Ability to manage requirements from several parallel initiatives and translate them into realistic team plans.
• Strong communication skills, with experience engaging stakeholders such as Project Managers, Domain Architects, Line Managers, and Product Owners.
• Passion for people development, with the ability to foster a collaborative team culture that ensures both an engaging workplace and timely deliveries.
