Project Manager – IT Readiness Project Manager

Job Description:

Our client requires an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee and deliver large-scale IT outsourcing project. This is a contract role based in Dublin with hybrid working options.

Job Responsibilities

External Readiness Project Manager to support a large-scale transition programme. The role sits alongside technical and business readiness leads and focuses on ensuring that third-party delivery plans are appropriately structured, sequenced, and integrated into the overall programme.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate experience in:

• Coordinating external readiness activities across different organisational boundaries
• Managing dependencies and risks between internal and external delivery teams
• Operating within a structured PMO environment, contributing to RAID, milestone tracking, and reporting
• Facilitating external joint planning sessions and surfacing misalignments early
• Driving clarity and accountability in environments where formal authority may be limited.

• This is a hands-on role with real accountability for exterenal readiness assurance, risk mitigation, and stakeholder alignment. We’re particularly interested in candidates who have worked in complex, multi-party delivery environments.

Experience Required

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in project management
• Extensive experience delivering complex IT managed service projects and IT business Readiness.
• Strong commercial and vendor management skills with proven experience negotiating with third-party service providers.
• Deep understanding of enterprise infrastructure environments .

Educational Requirements

• Project management certifications (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2) are highly advantageous.
