DevSecOps in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud DevSecOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with development teams to ensure seamless, secure, and reliable operation of software and systems. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and monitoring solutions, with a strong emphasis on automation, scalability, and security. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of cloud platforms, DevSecOps practices, and modern infrastructure tools, as well as a passion for continuous improvement and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Partner with development teams to ensure stable and secure software and systems operations.
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Build and manage end-to-end cloud solutions, including backup, disaster recovery, monitoring, and documentation.
- Oversee production and non-production cloud environments.
- Develop monitoring systems and custom dashboards with key metrics.
- Automate and refine development and deployment workflows.
- Monitor system health and resolve issues promptly.
- Enhance and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) practices.
- Manage cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS and Azure.
- Optimize infrastructure for security, scalability, performance, and cost.
- Contribute to and enhance open-source tools for internal use.
- Stay current with DevSecOps trends and best practices.
- Demonstrated experience designing and supporting scalable, highly available systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to new challenges.
- Deep expertise in CI/CD tools and compliance processes (e.g., approvals, attestations, code signing).
- Experience creating pipelines for diverse platforms (Kubernetes, API Gateways, Databases, Android, iOS, Web Apps).
- Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes and its core technologies (containerization, networking, cgroups).
- Proficiency in scripting (e.g., Bash) and at least one programming language (Python, Go, Java, Kotlin, C++, JavaScript, etc.).
- Solid understanding of networking protocols (IP, TCP, UDP, HTTP, IPSec).
- Strong grasp of DevSecOps practices, security, and cryptography (AES, RSA, DH, TLS).
- Expertise with Git and infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform).
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
- Skilled in implementing and managing monitoring tools (metrics, logs, traces).
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
