Role: DevOps Engineer

Title: AVP/VP

Location: Montreal, QC(Day 1 Onsite/Hybrid) – Fulltime

Mode of Work: 3 days/week onsite required

Required Experience: 6+ years

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Kubernetes, Terraform, and Python. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and automation frameworks to support our applications and teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable, highly available cloud infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Deploy, monitor, and manage Kubernetes clusters and workloads.
• Build automation and tooling solutions using Python for operational efficiency.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar).
• Ensure system reliability, security, and performance through proactive monitoring and incident response.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to improve software delivery.
• Manage logging, monitoring, and alerting systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.).
• Participate in on-call rotation and troubleshoot production issues.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong experience with Kubernetes (deployment, scaling, networking, Helm, operators).
• Proficiency in Terraform for IaC and cloud resource provisioning.
• Solid Python scripting skills for automation and tooling.
• Hands-on experience with cloud providers (AWS / Azure / GCP).
• Strong knowledge of Linux systems and shell scripting.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Understanding of networking, load balancers, and security best practices.
