3D Character Animator – Cartoon Style

Join a creative project as a 3D Character Animator specializing in cartoon-style animation. This role focuses on bringing stylized characters to life with expressive body and facial animations, tailored for a personal project with the potential for future collaboration. The animations will be used with Reallusion Character Creator and exported for Blender and/or Unity, capturing a range of personality types. You will work remotely, collaborating with a VFX company known for producing high-quality visual effects for video games. This opportunity is ideal for animators passionate about cartoon aesthetics and experienced in delivering polished, engaging character performances.

Responsibilities

- Create high-quality body and facial animations for stylized 3D characters in a cartoon style

- Ensure animations are compatible with Reallusion Character Creator and exportable to Blender and/or Unity

- Capture and convey diverse personality types through animation

- Collaborate remotely with a VFX team to meet project requirements and deadlines

- Deliver both stylized and cartoon animations suitable for video game environments

Skills and Requirements

- Proficiency in 3D character animation, with a strong portfolio demonstrating cartoon or stylized work

- Experience using iClone, Blender, and Reallusion Character Creator

- Ability to create expressive facial and body animations

- Understanding of animation pipelines for game engines such as Unity

- Strong attention to detail and ability to capture character personality

- Comfortable working independently and remotely

- Excellent communication and time management skills
