job description:


  1. Customer communication management
  2. Supervising and quality inspection for transmission equipment installation.
  3. Transmission equipment commissioning and acceptance test with customer.
  4. New software release update and implementation, including MSTP & WDM & /NCE product.
  5. Carry out hardware and software expansion/faults for the existing operational network.
  6. Equipment database information collecting and escalating for troubleshooting.
  7. Depend on the design requirement, perform the network change, including MSTP & WDM network.
  8. Services Provisioning from customer requirement from MSTP and WDM nodes.
  9. NCE license update from contract.
  10. Site technical document making and updating.

  • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft software applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio, and Outlook.

profession knowledge requirement:


  • Basic project management, delivery and communication skill.
  • Understanding the SDH principles, including alarms, performance, SDH signal flow, pointer justification and network protection switchover theories.
  • Understanding Wavelength division theory, including multiplexing, demultiplexing, optical amplifier, and monitoring theories.
  • Understanding WDM networking modes and site types ,know FD/OD/Raman system, and all OSN9800/1800 commissioning and configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Understanding optical power calculation method and wavelength division signal flow.
  • Basic knowledge of OSI model, TCP/IP protocol, Ethernet basic theories, networking and application of basic services on the Ethernet.
  • Understanding the frame structure, encapsulation, virtual concatenation, and LCAS of Ethernet. Have a command of IP address and sub-net division.
