About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager – Renewable Energy to lead the execution of utility-scale renewable projects in Italy during the construction phase. Acting as the key liaison between development, construction, and operations, you will ensure projects are delivered seamlessly, safely, and in compliance with all technical and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical coordination between development and construction teams.
- Oversee and ensure compliance during the permitting and grid connection (Terna) phases.
- Manage contracts and support negotiations for EPC, OE, and procurement agreements.
- Prepare and deliver progress and execution reports for management.
- Coordinate handover processes from Development to EPC, and from EPC to Operations.
- Review due diligence (DDs) and technical reports to identify risks and opportunities.
- Conduct project site visits as required (approx. 3–4 days per month).
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in renewable energy, with strong execution and construction oversight expertise.
- Solid knowledge of permitting and grid connection processes in Italy (Terna).
- Strong contract management and negotiation skills (EPC, OE, procurement agreements).
- Excellent technical and analytical skills, with the ability to review and interpret DDs and reports.
- Strong communication and coordination skills across multi-disciplinary teams.
- Languages: Italian required; Spanish and English highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setup with occasional travel.
