Job Title: Software Engineer (Python) / Python Developer

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands (Onsite)

Duration: 6 Months (Contract – Extendable)

Rate: €350-€400 per day (Gross)

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer (Python) / Python Developer with strong expertise in developing scalable microservices and deploying containerized applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The role involves designing, building, and maintaining microservices, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring high availability and performance of applications in production.

Requirements (Must-Have):

• 6+ years of professional experience as a Python Developer.
• Proven experience in developing microservices.
• Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, App Engine.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Solid experience with databases (SQL & NoSQL) and data modeling.
• Proficiency with version control systems (Git).
• Experience in CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, independent working, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Python-based microservices that are scalable, efficient, and secure.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications on GCP Cloud Run and related services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production applications to ensure high availability and performance.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code in line with coding standards.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in microservices and cloud computing.
