🌐 Chief DevOps Engineer
📍 Vilnius, Lithuania – Hybrid
We’re looking for a Chief Kubernetes Engineer to lead the design, automation, and optimisation of enterprise-grade container orchestration in the cloud. This is a senior-level opportunity to shape the architecture, tooling, and strategy for a large-scale AWS EKS environment, working alongside a diverse, highly skilled global team.
What you’ll do:
- Architect and evolve a secure, high-availability Kubernetes platform in AWS (EKS) at scale.
- Automate deployments, integrations, and operations using modern DevOps and Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
- Provide expert guidance to infrastructure and development teams, acting as a mentor and technical authority.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex platform and application issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Drive platform improvements by introducing innovative solutions and best practices.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to align infrastructure capabilities with business objectives.
What you bring:
- 4+ years of hands-on Kubernetes engineering experience, ideally with AWS EKS.
- Strong AWS expertise (VPC, EC2, S3, IAM, Route 53, Load Balancing, Storage, Lambda).
- Proficiency in DevOps/IaC tooling such as Terraform, Ansible, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Solid understanding of container security, observability, and performance optimisation.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Upper-intermediate or higher English.
