Our client is seeking a skilled and reliable Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and support their enterprise network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and deploy LAN, WAN, and wireless networks to meet business needs.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.
• Maintain and update network documentation, diagrams, and configurations.
• Manage firewalls, routers, switches, VPNs, and other networking equipment.
• Implement and maintain network security measures, including intrusion detection and prevention systems.
• Provide support for network-related incidents and service requests, including escalation and resolution.
• Collaborate with vendors, service providers, and internal stakeholders on infrastructure projects.
• Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery testing.
• Stay up to date with the latest networking technologies, trends, and best practices.

Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 2+ years of experience in network engineering or a similar IT infrastructure role.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, or similar network hardware.
• Experience configuring and maintaining firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark, PRTG).
• Understanding of cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
• Network certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are preferred.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
