Our client is seeking a skilled and reliable Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and support their enterprise network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, configure, and deploy LAN, WAN, and wireless networks to meet business needs.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.
Maintain and update network documentation, diagrams, and configurations.
Manage firewalls, routers, switches, VPNs, and other networking equipment.
Implement and maintain network security measures, including intrusion detection and prevention systems.
Provide support for network-related incidents and service requests, including escalation and resolution.
Collaborate with vendors, service providers, and internal stakeholders on infrastructure projects.
Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery testing.
Stay up to date with the latest networking technologies, trends, and best practices.

Skills and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
2+ years of experience in network engineering or a similar IT infrastructure role.
Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, or similar network hardware.
Experience configuring and maintaining firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers.
Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark, PRTG).
Understanding of cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
Network certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are preferred.
Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
Strong communication skills and ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
