This is a leading European EPC contractor specializing in utility-scale solar energy projects, with a strong presence across multiple countries. Known for delivering large-scale renewable energy infrastructure on time and to the highest quality standards, the company has successfully built over 700 solar projects worldwide, helping accelerate the transition to sustainable energy. The team is made up of passionate, forward-thinking professionals who thrive in a dynamic and collaborative environment.


The business is expanding its footprint in Latvia, where it already has an established entity and several ongoing collaborations with local contractors. To strengthen its operations, it is now looking to hire a dedicated Construction Specialist as a full-time employee to support its upcoming project in South Kurzeme.


The Construction Specialist will act as the on-the-ground point of contact for the EPC team in Latvia, ensuring that all project documentation, regulatory requirements, and construction coordination tasks run smoothly. This is a key role that will directly support the EPC Project Manager and Construction Manager, providing critical operational oversight and keeping the project aligned with deadlines and compliance requirements.


Key Responsibilities

  • BIS System Management: Collect data from Technical Coordinators and upload/approve it daily in BIS (Latvia’s official construction information system).
  • Documentation Preparation: Compile, organize, and submit documentation for all project stages, from construction through commissioning.
  • Local Coordination: Facilitate communication with companies, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Operational Support: Handle ad hoc tasks as they arise, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Collaboration: Maintain close, daily communication with the EPC Project Manager and Construction Manager (based in Bulgaria but traveling frequently to Latvia).
  • Right-Hand Support: Act as the Construction Manager’s “right-hand,” ensuring they are fully supported during project execution.


Requirements

  • Mandatory: Valid certificate for construction activities in Latvia (can be verified online via BIS Latvia).
  • Proven experience in construction and project coordination.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with international teams.
  • Detail-oriented and proactive in problem-solving.
