We are seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to establish and lead a new cybersecurity function within our company. This executive role will carry responsibility at the technical, operational, tactical, and strategic levels, ensuring the resilience and security of our organization.

The CISO will play a pivotal role in shaping, executing, and evolving our cybersecurity strategy, frameworks, and operations.

Previous experience in highly regulated industries (including gambling, fintech, or telecoms) is a must and please note that this role requires frequent travel to England and Malta.

• Deep knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards such as ISO/IEC 27001 and NIST.
• Strong track record in cyber risk management, crisis response, and business continuity planning.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence at board and executive levels.
• Strong people management and leadership abilities, fostering collaboration and innovation.
• Hands-on knowledge of Linux server environments (Virtualization, Docker) and enterprise security solutions (VPN, SSO, Wi-Fi, Windows endpoints).
• Up-to-date understanding of CERT advisories and the evolving global threat landscape.
• Familiarity with application logic vulnerabilities and their impact on business processes.
• Business acumen with a focus on change management, cross-cultural collaboration, and regulatory alignment.

• Maintain a clear understanding of business operations, aligning information security systems with business objectives and security standards.
• Collaborate with technical teams and business units to implement security solutions aligned with defined policies and standards.
• Partner with stakeholders across the organization to embed a culture of security and risk awareness.
