About The Opportunity
A software product engineering role in the Web Applications & Enterprise SaaS sector, focused on building secure, high-performance B2B and B2C web platforms. The team delivers end-to-end product features—back-end services, APIs, and responsive front-end experiences—deploying to cloud environments and operating in an on-site engineering culture in India.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design, implement and maintain full-stack features using Node.js back-ends, React front-ends, and Python microservices; own feature delivery from design to production.
- Build and consume RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints; ensure robust contracts, versioning, and backward compatibility.
- Optimize application performance and scalability—query tuning, caching strategies, async processing, and front-end rendering improvements.
- Write comprehensive unit and integration tests, enforce code quality through code reviews, linters and CI pipelines.
- Containerise services with Docker, collaborate on deployments and CI/CD automation; troubleshoot production issues and implement monitoring/alerting.
- Work closely with product, QA and UX teams on-site to translate requirements into maintainable, well-documented solutions and mentor junior engineers.
Must-Have
- Proven experience building production applications with Node.js (Express/Koa), React (Hooks) and Python (Flask/Django).
- Strong grasp of REST APIs/GraphQL, relational and document databases (Postgres, MySQL, MongoDB).
- Practical knowledge of Git workflows, unit/integration testing, and containerisation with Docker.
- Solid understanding of web performance, security best practices and cross-browser responsive UI development.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions/Jenkins) and observability (Prometheus/Grafana, ELK).
- On-site, collaborative engineering environment with clear career growth paths and technical ownership.
