Android Application Mobile Developer

BPSS clearance will be required to pass for this project.


The Role

As an Android Application Developer, you will:

  • Work within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team of engineers, designers, product managers, and testers.
  • Design, build, and maintain new and existing features using Kotlin and Android Studio.
  • Deliver well-tested, performant, and maintainable solutions that enhance user experience.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure a consistent and intuitive app design.
  • Support production systems and continuously improve performance, scalability, and reliability.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop high-quality, scalable Android solutions using Kotlin.
  • Write clean, efficient, testable code that follows best practices.
  • Create and maintain unit and integration tests.
  • Optimise application performance for responsiveness and stability.
  • Ensure compliance with Google Play Store requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues, driving continuous improvements.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.


About You

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • 5+ years of Android development experience using Kotlin and Android Studio.
  • Strong knowledge of Android design principles, MVVM architecture, and SOLID principles.
  • A collaborative and solutions-focused mindset.
  • Experience with CI/CD, pipelines, and mobile app analytics.
  • Hands-on experience with Gradle and Jetpack Compose.
  • Familiarity with native OS features such as push notifications, Health Connect, and Intents.
  • Experience integrating RESTful APIs and handling concurrency in Android.


Nice to Have

  • Understanding of the compilation process and memory management.
  • Knowledge or experience with FHIR standards.
