3rd Line Network Engineer - London - New! (REFGJ38)
A leading IT Managed Service provider in central London who provide solutions across Cloud, Connectivity, Cyber Security & Communications, are looking for an experienced 3rd Line Network Engineer to join them,.
You will come with strong L2/L3 Routing & Switching skills and hands-on expertise with Next-Gen Firewalls (Fortinet / Palo Alto).
You’ll handle complex escalations, deliver network changes, and support customer infrastructure across a diverse tech stack.
What you’ll do:
- Own and resolve 3rd line support tickets
- Design and implement network changes
- Support project delivery and mentor 2nd line engineers
- Document solutions and perform DR/failover testing
Key skills required:
- Advanced L2/L3 networking (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, RIP)
- Fortinet and/or Palo Alto firewall configuration
- Experience with Cisco, Meraki, Aruba, Juniper
- Strong troubleshooting and packet analysis
- CCNP or equivalent level knowledge
- Familiarity with cloud (Azure/AWS) and network automation (Python/Ansible)
