About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Core Java Developer with strong expertise in Microservices, Spring Boot, and Core Java to join our client’s team in the Banking & Financial Services industry. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade applications, ensuring scalability, performance, and security for mission-critical banking systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based microservices applications using Spring Boot.

Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and other developers to deliver high-quality banking solutions.

Develop APIs and integrate with internal/external systems, ensuring security and compliance standards.

Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues.

Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous delivery practices.

Ensure code quality through unit testing, integration testing, and peer reviews.

Contribute to architecture discussions and help define best practices for microservices and distributed systems.

Required Skills & Experience:

5–8+ years of experience in Core Java development.

Strong experience in Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Data, etc.)

Proven expertise in building and deploying Microservices architecture.

Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, SOAP, and integration patterns.

Experience working with banking/financial applications (Payments, Lending, Risk, Compliance, or similar).

Good knowledge of multithreading, concurrency, collections, and design patterns.

Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Maven, Gradle).

Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
