🔎 About the Role

The BI Developer role focuses on leveraging data from various sources to address business challenges, providing actionable insights for decision-making, and maintaining high data quality standards.

This position requires strong expertise in reporting tools such as Power BI and SQL, combined with excellent communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and present findings effectively.

📌 WHAT WILL YOUR DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES BE?

Reporting and Data Quality: 

• Develop and maintain the operational reporting portfolio to support business operations and strategic decision-making; 
• Translate business needs into clear reporting and data requirements, preparing comprehensive business requirement documentation; 
• Ensure data governance and data quality standards are upheld, continuously improving data products and proactively recommending innovative solutions based on industry trends. 

Data Integration: 

• Collaborate with data engineers and other stakeholders to enhance, optimize, and expand existing datasets for reporting and analytics purposes; 
• Support integration efforts between multiple data sources to create unified and accurate reporting structures.

✅ REQUIREMENTS:

Experience: At least 3 years of proven experience in a BI Analyst or Reporting Specialist role.

Visualization Skills: Ability to design effective, user-friendly, and visually appealing dashboards and reports that communicate complex data insights clearly to diverse stakeholders.

Data Modeling Skills:

• Strong skills in designing and building efficient, scalable, and well-structured data models for reporting and analytics purposes.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into logical and physical data models.

Technical Expertise:

• Power BI & DAX: Proven experience in building interactive dashboards, data models, and implementing best practices for performance optimization.
• SQL: Proficiency in writing efficient SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Data Modelling: Experience with “star schema”, data warehouse concepts, and performance tuning for large datasets.
• Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric is considered an advantage.

Soft Skills:

• Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively interact with stakeholders, gather requirements, and present insights.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on data accuracy and consistency.
