Security Manager

Security is a top priority for ABB and our customers. We are now seeking a Security Manager to lead and manage security for ABB’s legal entities in Norway.

You will be reporting to Head of Europe Regional Security and locally to the Chief Holding Officer.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Implementing and monitoring the security management system, including security programs, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with the Norwegian Security Act and related regulations.
• Conducting risk, vulnerability, and threat assessments to ensure compliance with security requirements.
• Leading crisis management and emergency preparedness across ABB’s Norwegian operations.
• Planning and conducting security exercises.
• Supervising security activities within ABB’s Norwegian entities.
• Handling security incidents, audits, and compliance investigations.
• Maintaining strong dialogue with relevant authorities and security environments.
• Collaborating with ABB teams to meet national security requirements and drive continuous improvements.
• Implementing and monitoring the Group program related to Travel Security, Crisis Management, Physical Security, Investigation, Project Security and Event Security
  
  

Your qualifications and skills:

• Higher education in Security & Crisis Management or a relevant field.
• Solid experience in Operational Security including Travel Security, Crisis Management, Physical Security, Investigation, Project Security and Event Security
• Documented competence in risk management methodology applied to Security Management.
• Strategic and analytical mindset with strong organizational skills.
• Fluent in both Norwegian and English, with excellent written communication skills.
• This position requires that you hold, or are eligible to obtain, a security clearance.
• Due to legal requirements you need to be a Norwegian citizen.
