Part-Time Project Manager (IT Operations)

Approx. 20 hours per week (preferably 3–4 hours daily)

Location:

Amsterdam, Netherlands (hybrid – 1–2 days per week in the office)


About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and organised Project Manager to oversee IT operations projects on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will bring structure, communication skills, and experience in managing IT operational initiatives.


While this is not a technical role, familiarity with IT workflows and environments is important. Hands-on knowledge of AWS will be a strong advantage.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate ongoing IT operations projects.
  • Define project timelines, deliverables, and milestones in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Track progress, identify risks, and ensure timely completion of project objectives.
  • Serve as the bridge between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Prepare clear status reports, documentation, and project updates.
  • Ensure compliance with internal processes and best practices.


Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, ideally within IT operations or related fields.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities effectively.
  • Not required to be technical, but a good understanding of IT processes is essential.
  • AWS experience is a strong plus.
  • Experience working in part-time or flexible project-based environments.


Work Schedule

  • Part-time: ~20 hours per week.
  • Preferred schedule: 3–4 hours daily, Monday–Friday, for consistent progress and communication.
  • Hybrid role: working from Amsterdam office 1–2 days per week, with the remaining time remote.
