Hybrid work model with office visits twice a week.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Maven.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate backend services with the frontend interface.
• Implement and manage PostgreSQL databases to support backend services.
• Participate in project planning and task management to ensure timely delivery of features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following best practices.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Continuously improve code quality through code reviews and automated testing.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our products remain competitive.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, or in a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in developing web applications using Java.
• Proven experience as a Backend Developer or similar role.
• Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with Maven for dependency management.
• Strong understanding of database management and SQL, particularly PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
• Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
