Front end Support specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a Front-End Developer who is passionate about creating modern, user-friendly web applications. You will be responsible for developing and enhancing the Enacto Energy Management System’s front-end, working closely with our backend developers, product managers, and designers to deliver intuitive, performant, and visually engaging interfaces.

This is a hands-on role where you will work with both core technologies and modern frameworks, ensuring that our platform is accessible, scalable, and easy to use.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain front-end components using HTML5, CSS/SCSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Build and optimise applications using React.
• Collaborate with designers and product managers to translate concepts into responsive, interactive user experiences.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.
• Work with backend teams to integrate APIs and data into the UI.
• Use Git for version control and effective collaboration.
• Ensure adherence to accessibility standards and performance best practices
  
  

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

• Strong proficiency in HTML/HTML5, CSS/SCSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with React.
• Experience with Git for source control.
  
  

WE VALUE

• Experience with HighCharts for data visualisation.
• Familiarity with Tailwind CSS for rapid UI development.
• Knowledge of GWT (Google Web Toolkit).
• Proficiency with Yarn and Node.js.
  
  

NICE TO HAVE

• UI/UX design experience and a strong design eye.
• Advanced CSS/SCSS skills for creating high-quality, complex layouts and animations.
• Experience with Docker or similar tools for front-end code hosting.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform or other cloud-based hosting solutions.
• Experience using UI testing tools for quality assurance.
