We are looking for a Front-End Developer who is passionate about creating modern, user-friendly web applications. You will be responsible for developing and enhancing the Enacto Energy Management System’s front-end, working closely with our backend developers, product managers, and designers to deliver intuitive, performant, and visually engaging interfaces.
This is a hands-on role where you will work with both core technologies and modern frameworks, ensuring that our platform is accessible, scalable, and easy to use.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain front-end components using HTML5, CSS/SCSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Build and optimise applications using React.
- Collaborate with designers and product managers to translate concepts into responsive, interactive user experiences.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.
- Work with backend teams to integrate APIs and data into the UI.
- Use Git for version control and effective collaboration.
- Ensure adherence to accessibility standards and performance best practices
YOU MUST HAVE
- Strong proficiency in HTML/HTML5, CSS/SCSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with React.
- Experience with Git for source control.
- Experience with HighCharts for data visualisation.
- Familiarity with Tailwind CSS for rapid UI development.
- Knowledge of GWT (Google Web Toolkit).
- Proficiency with Yarn and Node.js.
- UI/UX design experience and a strong design eye.
- Advanced CSS/SCSS skills for creating high-quality, complex layouts and animations.
- Experience with Docker or similar tools for front-end code hosting.
- Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform or other cloud-based hosting solutions.
- Experience using UI testing tools for quality assurance.
