Role:
- We are looking for a hands-on DevOps engineer to strengthen the cloud engineering team.
- This role focuses on designing, building, and managing AWS infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on ECS, EC2, and Terraform-based automation.
- You’ll collaborate with developers, architects, and SREs to ensure our platforms remain secure, scalable, and reliable.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and operate AWS infrastructure, focusing on ECS clusters and EC2 workloads.
- Automate provisioning and configuration using Terraform (multi-account governance, reusable modules, and state management).
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) for secure, reliable deployments.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting (CloudWatch, Splunk, Prometheus, and Grafana) for production workloads.
- Apply SDLC best practices: quality gates, code scanning (SAST/DAST/IaC), and deployment governance.
- Work on cloud cost optimization, incident response, and performance tuning.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to DevOps standards across the team.
Required Skills:
- Demonstrated experience mentoring junior engineers.
- Proven track record leading technical initiatives and driving process improvements.
AWS Expertise:
- AWS Solutions Architect Associate/Professional or DevOps Engineer Professional certification.
- Hands-on experience with EC2, VPC, RDS, S3, Lambda, ECS/EKS, CloudWatch, and IAM.
- Advanced AWS networking knowledge, including security groups, NACLs, and VPC peering.
Infrastructure as Code:
- Expert-level Terraform or CloudFormation skills with 3+ years of hands-on experience.
- Proficiency in state management, modules, and infrastructure best practices.
