Our client is seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join their dynamic technology team. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in high-availability environments and are passionate about cloud-native technologies, automation, and continuous improvement. You’ll play a pivotal role in enhancing the reliability, scalability, and performance of mission-critical systems.


Following a successful onboarding phase, the position is intended to transition into a permanent internal role, offering long-term career growth and the chance to shape the future of digital logistics services.


🧭 Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain robust, scalable systems that operate 24/7, supporting millions of transactions across international logistics platforms.
  • Act as a Cloud Champion within the team, driving cloud adoption strategies, mentoring peers, and setting best practices for cloud-native development.
  • Collaborate with software engineers and DevOps teams to build fault-tolerant cloud architectures, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery readiness.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform to automate deployments, scaling, and monitoring.
  • Contribute to a collaborative, agile team environment by promoting DevOps principles, continuous integration, and iterative development.
  • Implement observability tools and practices to proactively detect issues, optimize performance, and reduce mean time to recovery (MTTR).
  • Maintain clear documentation using Confluence and Jira, and actively contribute to knowledge sharing across teams.


🛠️ Required Skills & Experience:

  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (preferably AWS), including compute, networking, storage, and security services.
  • Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Artifactory, and SonarQube.
  • Strong working knowledge of Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes for infrastructure automation and container orchestration.
  • Experience using Jira and Confluence for agile project management and documentation.
  • Excellent English skills (spoken and written), with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders.


🌟 Nice to haves:

  • Familiarity with .NET and Angular for full-stack development support.
  • Experience with ArgoCD and GitOps workflows for declarative infrastructure and application delivery.
  • Knowledge of Kafka for building real-time data pipelines and event-driven architectures.
  • Proficiency in German or Italian is a plus, especially for cross-functional collaboration within multilingual teams.
