CTG- PF Corporate Banking catering to the requirements of Large and Multinational Project Finance (PF) companies in the region especially UAE & KSA for financing their mega projects at the investors level.
Job Purpose
Job Holder is responsible for managing and marketing new Project Finance deals within the region especially UAE & KSA as per the below role:
- Origination and execution of Advisory mandates and lending transactions in the Infra/Renewables sectors.
- Preparation and presentation of marketing materials for origination purposes.
- Preparation of term sheet and negotiation of loan documentation.
- Assist in setting up a strategy for Project Finance deals at structuring stage and giving early steer on credit appetite and structural issues. This will also include business level approvals for commercial viability of the deal.
- During credit application, engage constructively with Credit and other product teams in supporting a thorough assessment of a broad range of credit, structural, financial, market, technical, legal and sovereign risk issues.
- Interface with lenders, Lawyers, sponsors and all relevant parties during execution process to facilitate the final closing of deals.
- Monitoring of project finance deals approved & disbursed by the Bank.
- Cross-sell products from other areas of the Bank.

Regularly review the market to identify lucrative Project Finance opportunities and seek their approval.

Provide professional advice on products and services to customers and business leads to other units to ensure realization of business opportunities.
- Proposals
Ensure preparation of compelling proposals that will meet the policies and customer needs and negotiate their acceptance.
- Relationship Management
Proactively management relationships with customers and take personal responsibility for the establishment and maintenance of key relationships to leverage business achievement.
- Compliance
Strict compliance of Bank Policies thereby ensuring no material audit / spot check comments on the portfolio.
- Account reviews
Regular and timely review of existing facilities with no major overdue reviews and pending documentation and make appropriate recommendations for optimizing returns.
Education
- Graduate/ CA
- Master in Finance / MBA
Experiences
- Banking – 8 to 10 years.
- UAE Experience – 5 to 6 years.
- Corporate Banking – 6 to 8 years.
- Minimum of 3 years in structuring Project Finance transactions.
Skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Dealing with structuring and financing mega Project Finance deals within the region i.e. UAE & KSA.
- Excellent knowledge in Project Finance financing products beside the bank wide Products and Services.
